THE PHOTOGRAPHER MAWASHI GERI OPENS “ZOO” ATINES BARRENECHEA GALLERY FROM THE 15th OF OCTOBER TO THE 14th OF NOVEMBER, MADRID
Mawashi Geri takes spontaneous photography and turns it into art. He takes conventional situations and removes the context, thus altering their original meaning.
"ZOO is a compilation of photographs which aims to reflect on human nature´s condition and its interactions with the environment. Both visual and conceptual aspects have been brought face to face within the boundaries of these images. The result of this confrontation not only exudes a dazzlingly and full-of-vitalism oniric aroma but also serves a strong ironic view which vindicates the wild instinct that we all possess as animals."
